71. In the months since my last report to the Security Council, progress in areas critical to the stabilization of eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo has been uneven.

44. Since my last report to the Security Council, an additional 25 new cluster bomblet strike locations have been identified by the United Nations Mine Action Coordination Centre-South Lebanon.

27. Since my last report to the Council, the serious crimes process has continued its focus upon achieving the requirements of paragraph 8 of resolution 1543 (2004).

The present report covers developments in the mission area since the submission of my previous report to the Assembly, on 17 July 2000 (A/55/154).

8. Since I last reported to the Council, I have undertaken visits to the Philippines, Brazil and the Central African Republic.

41. To my deep regret, owing to the political crisis and institutional paralysis in Lebanon, there has been no progress towards the implementation of the remaining provisions of resolution 1559 (2004), since my last report to the Security Council.

10. Since my last report to the Security Council (S/2010/401), dated 29 July 2010, one additional State has recognized Kosovo, bringing the total to 70.
10 - ومنذ تقديم تقريري الأخير إلى مجلس الأمن (S/2010/401)، المؤرخ 29 تموز/يوليه 2010، اعترفت دولة أخرى بكوسوفو، ليصل مجموع المعترفين بكوسوفو إلى 70 دولة.

13. Since my last report to the Security Council (S/2010/562), dated 29 October 2010, and as of the end of the present reporting period, four additional Member States have recognized Kosovo, bringing the total to 74.
13 - ومنذ تقديم تقريري الأخير إلى مجلس الأمن (S/2010/562)، المؤرخ 29 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2010، وحسب الوضع في نهاية الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير، اعترفت أربع دول أعضاء أخرى بكوسوفو، ليصل مجموع المعترفين بكوسوفو إلى 74 دولة.

35. Since my last report to the Council, in April, the troop strength of the AMISOM force has increased to 9,595, comprising five battalions and a fire support unit from Burundi, and five battalions, with a support unit and marine elements from Uganda, under the command of Major General Fred Mugisha, who took over on 5 August 2011 from Major General Nathan Mugisha.

47. At the time of my previous report to the Council, six irregular migrants remained in the Territory under the care of the Frente Polisario in Bir Lahlou.

The present report covers developments in the Mission area since the time of my previous report to the Assembly, of 9 November 2000 (A/55/618), until the end of the Mission's mandate on 6 February 2001.
ويغطي هذا التقرير التطورات المستجدة في منطقة البعثة منذ تقديم تقريري الأخير إلى الجمعية العامة، المؤرخ 9 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2000 (A/55/618)، وحتى انتهـــــاء ولايـة البعثـــــة فـــي 6 شباط/فبراير 2001.

Since I last reported to the Council in October 2003, I have issued five indictments, involving eleven suspects.
