54. The Chairman said that the Committee had concluded its general debate on the two reports of the Joint Inspection Unit and that it would continue its consideration of them in informal consultations.

٨٠ - وأوضح أن اللجنة استعرضت وأيدت تقريري وحدة التفتيش المشتركة بعنوان " استعراض وتقييم الجهود المبذولة ﻹعادة تشكيل البُعد اﻹقليمي لﻷنشطة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لﻷمم المتحدة " و " الاتصال من أجل اﻷنشطة اﻹنمائية لمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة " وقد أحاطت علما باﻵراء والتحفظات التي أعرب عنها خلال المناقشات.

11. In the same resolution, the General Assembly decided, in accordance with its resolution 46/220 of 20 December 1991, to resume consideration of both the reports of the Joint Inspection Unit and that of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions at its forty-eighth session.

11. In the same resolution, the General Assembly decided, in accordance with its resolution 46/220 of 20 December 1991, to resume consideration of the reports of the Joint Inspection Unit and that of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions at its forty-eighth session.

3. The attention of the Committee was drawn to the note by the Secretariat on the reports of the Joint Inspection Unit contained in document E/AC.51/2004/L.3, and the Committee was informed that the two reports listed in the document were scheduled for consideration by the Fifth Committee and in plenary meeting during the fifty-ninth session of the General Assembly.
3 - ووجه انتباه اللجنة إلى مذكرة من الأمانة العامة بشأن تقريري وحدة التفتيش المشتركة الواردين في الوثيقة E/AC.51/2004/L.3، وأبلغت اللجنة بأن التقريرين المدرجين في الوثيقة قد تقرر أن تنظر فيهما اللجنة الخامسة وفي الجلسة العامة للجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين.

24. During its consideration of the JIU reports at its thirty-fourth session, the Committee for Programme and Coordination took detailed action on each and all of the recommendations contained in the two JIU reports before it.
