47. I recommend that the Security Council call upon the parties, Morocco and the Frente Polisario, to enter into negotiations without preconditions, with a view to achieving a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution that will provide for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara.
47 - أوصي بأن يدعو مجلس الأمن الطرفين، المغرب وجبهة البوليساريو إلى الدخول في مفاوضات دون شروط مسبقة، بغية التوصل إلى حل سياسي عادل ودائم ويرضى به الطرفان وينص على تقرير شعب الصحراء الغربية لمصيره.

The Personal Envoy highlighted the Secretary-General's recommendation in his report that the Security Council should call on the parties to enter into negotiations without preconditions, with a view to achieving a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution which would provide for the selfdetermination of the people of Western Sahara.
وسلط المبعوث الشخصي الضوء على توصية الأمين العام الواردة في تقريره بأنه ينبغي لمجلس الأمن أن يدعو الطرفين إلى الدخول في مفاوضات دون شروط مسبقة، من أجل التوصل إلى حل سياسي دائم ومقبول منهما يتضمن تقرير شعب الصحراء الغربية لمصيره.

Having spent just over a year on his assignment, my Personal Envoy is convinced that the Frente Polisario would be well advised to enter into negotiations now, while there is still consensus in the Council that a negotiated political solution must provide for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara.
