The Committee notes that the denial of insurance contracts on the basis of " mental capacity " constitutes a discrimination against persons with disabilities.
وتلاحظ اللجنة أن الحرمان من عقود التأمين على أساس " القدرة العقلية " يشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

(b) To take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities in the areas of work and employment. .
(ب) اتخاذ جميع التدابير الملائمة، بما فيها التشريع، لتعديل أو إلغاء ما يوجد من القوانين واللوائح والأعراف والممارسات التي تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في مجالي العمل والعمالة.

Taking " all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities " (art. 4, para. 1 (b)) constitutes the main general obligation for all States parties.
ويمثل اتخاذ الدول الأطراف " جميع التدابير الملائمة، بما فيها التشريع، لتعديل أو إلغاء ما يوجد من قوانين ولوائح وأعراف وممارسات تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة " (المادة 4، الفقرة 1(ب)) التزاماً عاماً رئيسياً يقع على جميع الدول الأطراف.

ويمثل اتخاذ الدول الأطراف " جميع التدابير الملائمة، بما فيها التشريع، لتعديل أو إلغاء ما يوجد من قوانين ولوائح وأعراف وممارسات تشكل تمييزاً ضد الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة " (المادة 4، الفقرة 1(ب)) الالتزام العام الرئيسي لجميع الدول الأطراف.

Accordingly, article 4, paragraph 1 (b), of the Convention obliges States parties to " take all appropriate measures, including legislation, to modify or abolish existing laws, regulations, customs and practices that constitute discrimination against persons with disabilities " .
