68 - وردَّاً على دواعي القلق التي أعرب عنها ممثل باكستان، ذكَّرت المتكلمة اللجنة بأنها قد أدلت فعلاً بعدة بيانات بشأن أحداث الحادي عشر من أيلول/سبتمبر شددت فيها على الحاجة إلى الامتناع عن الربط بين المهاجرين والإرهابيين؛ ورغم أنه من الأهمية بمكان تنسيق الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى ضمان الأمن البشري يجب ألا تسفر هذه الجهود عن عنصرية أو تمييز ديني ضد غير المواطنين.

Whereas the reports sent to the Special Rapporteur by the Organisation of the Islamic Conference and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights both focus on members of one specific religion and on a specific region of the world, the Special Rapporteur would like to highlight that members of other religions or beliefs and other regions are also affected by instances of religious discrimination and incitement to religious hatred.
