The delegation of Peru urges the States that have not yet done so to accede to the Convention.

On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of this significant instrument, in a letter dated 26 January 2012, I addressed an invitation to all Member States which are not yet parties to the Convention to consider becoming parties.
