At present, the United Nations presence in Eastern Slavonia consists of two battalions of the United Nations Confidence Restoration Operation in Croatia, which is known as UNCRO (from Belgium and the Russian Federation), totalling some 1,600 all ranks, 48 United Nations military observers, 16 civilian police, 20 United Nations civilian staff and fewer than 20 personnel of other United Nations agencies.
