1. The present report is submitted pursuant to paragraph 3 of Security Council resolution 1252 (1999) of 15 July 1999 in which the Council requested, by 15 October 1999, a report with recommendations and options to develop confidence-building measures between the parties to the disputed issue of Prevlaka.
