There are two main border crossings: Kodjoviakopé in the west, on the border between Togo and Ghana, and Sanvee Condji to Aného in the east, on the border between Togo and Benin.

71. The Commission also recommends the appointment of another team of experts to be entrusted with the task of verifying the technical data concerning the operation of aircraft used by the Togolese armed forces, the computerized records of flights at the Lomé-Tonkoin airport throughout 1998, and the trajectories of the bodies in the territorial sea adjacent to the coasts of Togo and Benin.

Other border areas within Togo include Danyi-Konta, Badou (western border, between Togo and Ghana), Kémérida (eastern border, between Togo and Benin) and Cinkassé (northern border, between Togo and Burkina Faso).
وبداخل البلد، يجدر بالذكر: داني - كونتا وبادو (على الحدود بين توغو وغانا في الغرب، وكيميريدا (على الحدود بين توغو وبنن في الشرق)، وسنكاسيه (على الحدود بين توغو وبوركينا فاصو في الشمال).

While Amnesty International regrets that the Commission did not benefit from expert support such as that of forensic pathologists and aviation experts, it welcomes the Commission's recommendation that such experts be sent to the area as soon as possible, including a team of pathologists to undertake exhumations in Togo and Benin.

Amnesty International also welcomes the recommendation that the relevant thematic Special Rapporteurs of the Commission on Human Rights and the African Commission on Human and People's Rights visit Togo and Benin, and reiterates its call to the two Governments to invite the relevant Special Rapporteurs and also the Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances.
