By the operative part of the draft resolution, the Assembly would, inter alia, express its appreciation to the International Law Commission for the work accomplished at its forty-ninth session, and would draw the attention of Governments to the importance, for the International Law Commission, of having their views on all the specific issues identified in chapter III of its report.
وتعرب الجمعية في منطوق مشروع القرار، في جملة أمور، عن تقديرها للجنة القانون الدولي على العمل الذي أنجزته في دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين، وتسترعي انتباه الحكومات لما توليه لجنة القانون الدولي من أهمية لاستطلاع آراء الحكومات بشأن جميع المسائل المحددة الواردة في الفصل الثالث من تقريرها.

23. Given the attention being paid by the Commission of Experts to the issue of rape and sexual abuse, and in order to avoid an overlap of activities, the Special Rapporteur does not at present intend to undertake special studies.

The Assembly would draw the attention of Governments to the importance for the International Law Commission of having their views on the draft articles and commentary on diplomatic protection and on the draft principles on allocation of loss in the case of transboundary harm arising out of hazardous activities, both of which were adopted at the fifty-sixth session of the Commission in 2004.
وتوجه الجمعية أنظار الحكومات إلى ما توليه لجنة القانون الدولي من أهمية لاستطلاع آرائها بشأن مشروع المواد والشرح المتعلق بالحماية الدبلوماسية ومشروع المبادئ المتعلقة بتوزيع الخسائر في حالة الضرر العابر للحدود الناجم عن أنشطة خطرة، اللذين اعتُمدا كليهما في الدورة السادسة والخمسين للجنة في عام 2004.
