34. The staff representatives welcomed the General Assembly’s mandate in paragraph 1, section II of resolution 51/226, which recognized the role of the Office of Human Resources Management as the primary representative of the Secretary-General in establishing the policies and guidelines and strongly requested the Secretary-General to maintain its central policy authority.
٣٤ - ورحب ممثلو الموظفين بطلب الجمعية العامة في الفقرة ١ من الفرع ثانيا من قرارها ٥١/٢٢٦ الذي أقرت فيه بدور مكتب إدارة الموارد البشرية بوصفه الممثل اﻷساسي لﻷمين العام في وضع السياسات والمبادئ التوجيهية، وطلبت بقوة إلى اﻷمين العام أن يبقي على السلطة المركزية للمكتب.

In section II of its resolution 51/218 E, the General Assembly established an amount of $50,000 towards the payment for death cases for members of military contingents and formed police units.

1. In section II of its resolution 49/223 of 23 December 1994, the General Assembly requested the staff, the organizations and the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC) to review how the consultative process in the Commission could be improved.
١ - طلبت الجمعية العامة في الجزء ثانيا من قرارها ٤٩/٢٢٣ المؤرخ ٢٣ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٤، إلى هيئات الموظفين والمنظمات ولجنة الخدمة المدنية الدولية أن تستعرض كيفية تحسين عملية التشاور في اللجنة.

Recalling section II of its resolution 43/226 of 21 December 1988, section I.B of its resolution 47/216 and section I of its resolution 48/224 of 23 December 1993, in which it regretted the suspension of the participation of staff bodies in the work of the International Civil Service Commission,

In section II of its resolution 37/250 of 21 December 1982, the General Assembly established, as a standing body, the Committee on the Development and Utilization of New and Renewable Sources of Energy pursuant to the United Nations Conference on New and Renewable Sources of Energy, which was held at Nairobi from 10 to 21 August 1981.
٢٢٢ - في الفرع ثانيا من قرارها ٣٧/٢٥٠ المؤرخ ٢١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٨٢، أنشأت الجمعية العامة، كهيئة دائمة، اللجنة المعنية بتنمية واستغلال مصادر الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة متابعة لمؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة المعني بمصادر الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة، الذي عقد في نيروبي في الفترة من ١٠ إلى ٢١ آب/أغسطس ١٩٨١.

8. Recalls paragraphs 9 and 10 of section II of its resolution 59/266 of 23 December 2004, takes note of paragraph 5 of the report of Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, and requests the Secretary-General to report on measures to improve the Galaxy tool;
8 - تشير إلى الفقرتين 9 و 10 من الجزء ' ثانيا` من قرارها 59/266 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2004، وتحيط علما بالفقرة 5 من تقرير اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية، وتطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا عن التدابير المتخذة لتحسين أداة Galaxy؛

32.7 In order to remedy the situation with regard to the physical condition of facilities at Headquarters, the General Assembly, in section II of its resolution 57/292, approved a capital master plan and authorized the Secretary-General to proceed with the design phases of the project.
32-7 ولإصلاح الحالة العمرانية للمرافق في المقر، وافقت الجمعية العامة في الجزء ثانيا من قرارها 57/292 على خطة رئيسية للأصول الرأسمالية وأذنت للأمين العام أن يمضي قدما في تنفيذ مراحل التصميم المتبقية من المشروع.

8. In section II of its resolution 57/292 of 20 December 2002, the General Assembly appropriated $25.5 million for the capital master plan for the biennium 2002-2003 for design, related project management and management of pre-construction services for the baseline scope and scope options.
8 - وفي الجزء ثانيا من قرارها 57/292 المؤرخ 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002، قامت الجمعية العامة باعتماد مبلغ 25.5 ملايين دولار للخطة الرئيسية للأصول الإنتاجية لفترة السنتين 2002-2003، وذلك لتغطية تكاليف إدارة التصميم والمشاريع ذات الصلة وإدارة خدمات ما قبل البناء بالنسبة لنطاق خط الأساس وخيارات النطاق.

9. At its 2003 substantive session, the Committee on Conferences,4 in its report to the General Assembly, decided to recommend that the Assembly include in section II of its resolution entitled " Pattern of conferences " the following two paragraphs:
9 - وقررت لجنة المؤتمرات(4) في دورتها الموضوعية لعام 2003، في سياق تقريرها إلى الجمعية العامة، أن توصي بأن تدرج الجمعية الفقرتين التاليتين في الجزء ثانيا من قرارها المعنون " خطة المؤتمرات " :

The present report is submitted in response to the request of the General Assembly in paragraph 26 (e) of section II of its resolution 63/262, to provide an update on the implementation of the enterprise content management (ECM) and the customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

In formulating this report, the Secretary-General has taken into account the guidance given by the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (see A/60/735) and by the General Assembly in section II of resolution 60/260.

172. The General Assembly, in paragraph 13 of section II of resolution 57/305, requested the Secretary-General to address the causes of the continuous high vacancy rates at all heavily affected United Nations offices and regional commissions in developing countries, particularly those located in Africa, and to report thereon to the Assembly at its fifty-ninth session.
172 - طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام، في الفقرة 13 من الجزء ثانيا من قرارها 57/305، أن يعالج أسباب استمرار ارتفاع معدل الشواغر في جميع مكاتب الأمم المتحدة ولجانها الإقليمية المتأثرة بشدة في البلدان النامية، ولا سيما الموجود منها في أفريقيا، وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة والخمسين.
