7. At its second session, the Committee decided that representatives of States not parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) should be allowed, upon request, to attend as observers the meetings of the Committee other than those designated closed meetings, to be seated in the Committee behind their countries' nameplates and to receive documents of the Committee.
٧ - وقررت اللجنة في دورتها الثانية أن يسمح لممثلي الدول التي ليست أطرافا في معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية، بناء على طلبهم، بالحضور بصفة مراقبين في جلسات اللجنة ما عدا الجلسات التي يتقرر أن تكون مغلقة، على أن يجلسوا خلف لوحات تحمل أسماء بلدانهم وأن يتلقوا وثائق اللجنة.

8. With regard to the participation of representatives of intergovernmental organizations, the Committee decided, at its third session, that they should be allowed, upon request, to attend as observers the meetings of the Committee other than those designated closed meetings, to be seated in the Committee behind their organizations' nameplates and to receive documents of the Committee.
٨ - وفيما يتعلق بمشاركة ممثلي المنظمات الحكومية الدولية، قررت اللجنة في دورتها الثالثة، أن يسمح لهم، بناء على طلبهم، بحضور جلسات اللجنة ما عدا الجلسات التي يتقرر أن تكون مغلقة، بصفة مراقبين، على أن يجلسوا خلف لوحات تحمل أسماء منظماتهم وأن يتلقوا وثائق اللجنة.

9. Furthermore, the Committee decided at its second session that representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should be allowed, upon request, to attend the meetings of the Committee other than those designated closed, to be seated in the public gallery, to receive documents of the Committee and, at their own expense, to make written material available to the participants in the Committee.
٩ - وعلاوة على ذلك قررت اللجنة في دورتها الثانية أن يسمح لممثلي المنظمات غير الحكومية، بناء على طلبهم، بحضور جلسات اللجنة ما عدا الجلسات التي يتقرر أن تكون مغلقة، على أن يجلسوا في شرفة الجمهور ويتلقوا وثائق اللجنة. ولهم أن يقوموا، على حسابهم الخاص، بتقديم مادة مكتوبة للمشتركين في اللجنة.

12. Furthermore, representatives of 37 non-governmental organizations (see NPT/CONF.2005/PC.II/INF.3 and Add.1 and Corr.1) attended the meetings of the Committee other than those designated as closed meetings.
