وأود أيضا أن أدعو الدول والمنظمات الممثلة هنا إلى أن تنقل إلى السلطات المختصة في بلدانها ومنظماتها نداء بالاستمرار في منح المساعدات الإنسانية أو تجديدها لصالح اللاجئين، سواء كانوا من جنوب السودان أو من جنوب وسط أفريقيا ، الذين نوفر لهم المأوى في جنوب بلدنا.

7. Urges the Government of Sudan and the Government of Southern Sudan or its successor to fully cooperate with each other and provide full support to UNISFA, enabling it to fully implement the mandate;

8. Stresses that improved cooperation between the Government of Sudan and Government of Southern Sudan or its successor, is also critical for peace, security and stability and the future relations between them;

46. Mr. Karti responded by attributing some of the challenges to the lack of cooperation from the Sudan People's Liberation Movement and clarifying that the referendums were to reflect the will of the people, not the opinions of the Government of Southern Sudan or the Sudan People's Liberation Movement.

In the Penal Code Act, 2008, pursuant to Ss. 253 - 258 practices such as trading, accepting, receiving or detaining a person as a slave; procuring or attempting to procure a woman below the age of 21 as a prostitute in a brothel in Southern Sudan or elsewhere either through the use of threats or other means are prohibited.
