The Committee expresses appreciation for the involvement of Governments, intergovernmental organizations, United Nations entities and civil society in its programme of international meetings and conferences, which facilitates discussion and analysis of the various aspects of the question of Palestine.
تعرب اللجنة عن تقديرها لمشاركة الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية وكيانات الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني في برنامج لقاءاتها ومؤتمراتها الدولية، مما يسهل مناقشة وتحليل مختلف جوانب القضية الفلسطينية.

It is important for Israel to recognize this fact as well, so that no one will be under the illusory impression that postponing the resolution of some aspects of the question of Palestine would create an atmosphere conducive to the establishment of long-term peace or that temporary and short-term solutions or partial agreements could be a substitute for the comprehensive settlement of the question in all its aspects.

In this connection, the Division will continue to prepare and disseminate as widely as possible publications and information materials on various aspects of the question of Palestine and will include additional documentation in the UNISPAL system and on the Internet.

It also emphasized that the United Nations should maintain its permanent responsibility with respect to all aspects of the question of Palestine until it is resolved in a satisfactory manner, in conformity with relevant United Nations resolutions, in accordance with international legitimacy and until the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people are fully realized.
وشددت اللجنة أيضا على أنه يتعين على الأمم المتحدة مواصلة اضطلاعها بمسؤوليتها الحالية فيما يتعلق بجميع جوانب القضية الفلسطينية حتى تتم تسويتها بطريقة مُرضية، وفقا لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، وبموجب الشرعية الدولية، وإلى أن ينعم الشعب الفلسطيني بحقوقه غير القابلة للتصرف بشكل كامل.

The Committee will also strive to work with maximum effectiveness in order to respond adequately and in a timely manner to the rapidly evolving situation on the ground, while promoting a constructive analysis and discussion of the various aspects of the question of Palestine and mobilizing international assistance to the Palestinian people.
وستسعى اللجنة إلى العمل بأقصى ما لديها من كفاءة من أجل الاستجابة بصورة ملائمة في الوقت المناسب للحالة المتغيرة بسرعة في الميدان، وتشجع في الوقت نفسه على تحليل مختلف جوانب القضية الفلسطينية ومناقشتها وتعبئة المساعدة الدولية للشعب الفلسطيني.

93. The Committee considers that the publications and studies prepared by the Division for Palestinian Rights have performed a valuable function by providing accurate information on the various aspects of the question of Palestine and a record of the activities sponsored by the Committee.
٣٩ - وتعتبر اللجنة أن المنشورات والدراسات التي أعدتها شعبة حقوق الفلسطينيين قد أدت مهمة قيمة بتوفيرها معلومات دقيقة عن مختلف جوانب القضية الفلسطينية وسجل لﻷنشطة التي تتبناها اللجنة.

77. The Radio and Video Service of the Department covered various aspects of the question of Palestine and related items in news and current affairs radio programmes in official and non-official languages.
٧٧ - تناولت دائرة اﻹذاعة والفيديو في الادارة مختلف جوانب القضية الفلسطينية والبنود ذات الصلة بالتغطية في البرامج اﻹذاعية اﻹخبارية وبرامج الشؤون الجارية باللغات الرسمية وغير الرسمية.

168. The subprogramme facilitated sustained dialogue between relevant actors, including Governments, United Nations bodies, intergovernmental organizations and civil society on all aspects of the question of Palestine.

18. Mr. Mekdad (Syrian Arab Republic) welcomed the plan of action, which would help define the position of the international community with regard to the various aspects of the question of Palestine.

In this context, the Committee reiterates its position that the United Nations should maintain its permanent responsibility with respect to all aspects of the question of Palestine until it is resolved in a satisfactory manner, in conformity with relevant United Nations resolutions, in accordance with international legitimacy and until the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people are fully realized.

74. The Committee considers that its programme of international and regional meetings and conferences helps to promote a constructive analysis and discussion of the various aspects of the question of Palestine and mobilize international assistance to the Palestinian people as well as contributing to heightening awareness of the root cause of the conflict, namely the occupation by Israel of the Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
74 - وتعتبر اللجنة أن برنامج الاجتماعات والمؤتمرات الإقليمية الذي تضطلع به يساعد على إجراء تحليلات ومناقشات بنّاءة لمختلف جوانب القضية الفلسطينية ويحشد المساعدة الدولية للشعب الفلسطيني، فضلا عن مساهمته في إذكاء الوعي بالسبب الحقيقي لهذا الصراع، ألا وهو احتلال إسرائيل للأراضي الفلسطينية، بما في ذلك القدس الشرقية.

32. Mr. Rastam (Malaysia) said that the Special Committee should continue its work until there was a complete and final solution to all aspects of the Palestinian question.
