وإذا كانت الوظائف المناسبة المتاحة خاضعة لمبدأ التوزيع الجغرافي، تعين إيلاء الاعتبار الواجب كذلك للجنسية، وذلك في حالة الموظفين الذين لم يقضوا في الخدمة أكثر من خمس سنوات والموظفين الذين غيروا جنسيتهم خلال السنوات الخمس السابقة؛

When the suitable posts available are subject to the principle of geographical distribution, due regard shall also be given to nationality in the case of staff members with less than five years of service and in the case of staff members who have changed their nationality within the preceding five years.
وإذا كانت الوظائف المناسبة المتاحة خاضعة لمبدأ التوزيع الجغرافي، تعين إيلاء الاعتبار الواجب للجنسية في حالة الموظفين الذين قضوا في الخدمة أقل من خمس سنوات وفي حالة الموظفين الذين غيروا جنسيتهم خلال السنوات الخمس السابقة.

This is of particular relevance to those staff deployed at hardship duty stations, and in the context of the United Nation's strategic movement towards mobility and increased field presence.
ويتسم ذلك بأهمية خاصة في حالة الموظفين الذين يُنشرون في مراكز عمل شاقة، وفي سياق التحرك الاستراتيجي للأمم المتحدة نحو عملية تنقّل الموظفين وزيادة الوجود الميداني.
