5. Calls upon States of destination to protect effectively the human rights of children in the context of migration, without discrimination of any kind and, in this regard:

On 25 May 2010, OHCHR organized a one-day open-ended consultation on the issue of protecting the rights of the child in the context of migration.

The present report is submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 12/6, in which the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) was requested to prepare a study on challenges and best practices in the implementation of the international framework for the protection of the rights of the child in the context of migration, in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

According to the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and reiterated by OHCHR in its study on challenges and best practices in the implementation of the international framework for the protection of the rights of the child in the context of migration (A/HRC/15/29, para. 44), age assessment should be a measure of last resort.
15 - ووفقا لما ذكرته لجنة حقوق الطفل، وأكدته مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان في دراستها حول التحديات وأفضل الممارسات في مجال تنفيذ الإطار الدولي لحماية حقوق الأطفال في سياق الهجرة (A/HRC/15/29، الفقرة 44)، فإن تقدير السن ينبغي أن يكون تدبيرا لا يُتخذ إلا كملاذ الأخير.

On 28 September 2012, the Special Rapporteur participated in the Committee on the Rights of the Child day of general discussion on the rights of children in the context of migration.
2- في 28 أيلول/سبتمبر 2012، شارك المقرر الخاص في يوم المناقشة العامة الذي نظمته لجنة حقوق الطفل بشأن حقوق الأطفال في سياق الهجرة.

(c) Take action to implement all legislation and policies relevant to addressing child labour concerns and protecting the rights of children in the context of their economic exploitation.

11. On 30 September and 1 October 2008, the Special Rapporteur attended the International Conference on the Protection of the rights of children in the context of International Migration, in Mexico City, organized by OHCHR and the Government of Mexico.
11- وفي الفترة من 30 أيلول/سبتمبر إلى 1 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2008، حضر المقرر الخاص المؤتمر الدولي بشأن حماية حقوق الأطفال في سياق الهجرة الدولية، الذي نظّمته مفوضية حقوق الإنسان وحكومة المكسيك في مدينة مكسيكو.

The Committee on the Rights of the Child, at its day of general discussion on the rights of children in the context of international migration, held on 28 September 2012, recommended that States should make clear that the child's best interests take priority in their legislation, policy and practice, including on migration.,
