1. This is the ninth report of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan.

5. The Permanent Representative stated that his Government did not recognize the resolution adopted by the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and was therefore unable to accept the High Commissioner's offer.

Similarly, the report of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Myanmar (A/60/221) contained many unfounded allegations which his delegation firmly rejected.
وتقرير المقر الخاص للجنة حقوق الإنسان بشأن حالة حقوق الإنسان في ميانمار (A/60/221) يتضمن أيضا مزاعم لا أساس لها.

Mr. Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro, Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Myanmar, has also been denied access to the country since November 2003.
كما رُفض السماح للسيد باولو سيرجيو بينيرو، المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق الإنسان بشأن حالة حقوق الإنسان في ميانمار، بدخول البلد منذ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2003.

Those accounts were confirmed by the recent report of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel since 1967, which complemented the report of the Special Committee.
