وتشمل الحماية جميع الأنشطة الرامية إلى ضمان الاحترام الكامل لحقوق الأشخاص وفقا للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني وقانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين.

The Council calls upon these States to ensure that all actions are carried out in accordance with international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law and to take appropriate measures to protect civilians.

219. The Committee notes with satisfaction the establishment, at the Higher Institute of the Ministry of the Interior, of a programme for the training of police officers in human rights and refugee law.
219- وتلاحظ اللجنة مع الارتياح وضع برنامج في المعهد العالي التابع لوزارة الداخلية لتدريب موظفي الشرطة في مجال حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين.

Expressing its deep concern at the erosion in respect for international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law and principles during armed conflict, in particular deliberate acts of violence against all those protected under such law, and expressing also its concern at the denial of safe and unimpeded access to people in need,

44. Under an agreement signed by UNHCR and IACHR in June 2001, the organizations are committed to joint efforts in areas related to the promotion and dissemination of human rights and refugee law.
44 - وبموجب اتفاق موقَّع بين المفوضية ولجنة البلدان الأمريكية لحقوق الإنسان في حزيران/يونيه 2001، تعهدت المنظمتان ببذل جهود مشتركة في المجالات المتصلة بترويج ونشر حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين.

15. Besides ensuring that counter-terrorism law is consistent with human rights, the conduct of agencies involved in the countering of terrorism must be in compliance with human rights and refugee law, and applicable principles and provisions of international humanitarian law.
15- بالإضافة إلى ضمان اتساق قانون مكافحة الإرهاب مع حقوق الإنسان، يجب أن يكون سلوك الوكالات التي لها دور في مكافحة الإرهاب مطابقاً لقانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين وللمبادئ والأحكام السارية المفعول من القانون الإنساني الدولي.

It further calls on all States which have not already done so to consider ratifying or acceding to major instruments of international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law, and to take appropriate measures to implement them.
ويدعو أيضا جميع الدول التي لـم تصـدق على الصكوك الرئيسية، في مجالات القانون الإنساني الدولي، وقانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين أو لـم تنضـم إليهـا بعـد أن تنظــر في القيـام بـذلك وأن تتخذ التدابير الملائمة لتطبيقها.

It reiterated its strong condemnation of all violations of applicable international law and demanded that the parties to armed conflict comply strictly with the obligations under international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law.
وكرر تأكيد إدانته الشديدة لجميع انتهاكات القانون الدولي، وطالب الأطراف في النزاعات المسلحة بأن تمتثل امتثالا صارما للالتزامات المنطبقة عليها بموجب القانون الدولي الإنساني وقانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين.

9. Calls on States that have not already done so to consider ratifying the instruments of international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law, and to take appropriate legislative, judicial and administrative measures to implement their obligations under these instruments;
9 - يدعو الدول التي لم تصدِّق بعد على صكوك القانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين إلى النظر في القيام بذلك، وإلى اتخاذ التدابير التشريعية والقضائية والإدارية المناسبة من أجل الوفاء بالتزاماتها بموجب هذه الصكوك؛

17. Reaffirms that, where appropriate, United Nations peacekeeping and other relevant missions should provide for the dissemination of information about international humanitarian, human rights and refugee law and the application of relevant Security Council resolutions;
17 - يؤكد مجددا أنه ينبغي لبعثات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام وبعثاتها الأخرى ذات الصلة، أن توفر، عند الاقتضاء، ما يلزم من أجل نشر معلومات عن القانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين وعن تطبيق قرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة؛

While, in their early days, human rights and refugee law and mechanisms developed somewhat separately, their overlapping recognition of the inherent dignity of displaced women, men and children and the imperative to ensure their safety and well-being in the face of danger and the loss of their homes and communities have brought both the law and mechanisms together in fruitful ways.
وإذا كان كل من قانون حقوق الإنسان وقانون اللاجئين والآليات المتصلة بحقوق الإنسان واللاجئين قد تطور في البداية بصورة مستقلة إلى حد ما، فإن اعترافها المشترك بما للنساء والرجال والأطفال المشردين من كرامة أصيلة وبضرورة ضمان أمن ورفاه هؤلاء الأشخاص تصدياً لما يواجهونه من مخاطر وفقدان لديارهم ومجتمعاتهم، قد جمع بين تلك القوانين والآليات بصورة ناجعة.
