According to the reports of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, in the territory of the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia as many as 3 million persons are reported to have been displaced.
ويمكن ايجاز الاستنتاجات التي توصلوا اليها فيما يلي: يشير المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة، في تقاريره الى أن نحو ثلاثة ملايين شخص قد شردوا.

In carrying out this work during 1993, the Commission has had access to information gathered within the Centre for Human Rights, especially from the Special Rapporteur appointed by the Commission on Human Rights to investigate at first hand the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
ومن أجل القيام بهذا العمل خلال عام ١٩٩٣، اتيحت للجنة امكانية الوصول الى معلومات جمعت داخل مركز حقوق الانسان، لا سيما من المقرر الخاص الذي عينته لجنة حقوق الانسان للتحقيق بشكل مباشر في حالة حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة.

I have the honour of communicating to you an advance copy of another periodic report regarding the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavcia, which I submit pursuant to paragraph 37 of Commission on Human Rights resolution 1994/72.

(s) In connection with item 12: Mr. T. Mazowiecki, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia;
)ق( فيما يتعلق بالبند ٢١: السيد ت. مازوفيسكي، المقرر الخاص بشأن حالة حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة؛

1. Commends both the former and the current Special Rapporteurs of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia for their efforts, and notes that the presence of the Special Rapporteur can be a positive factor towards reducing the instances of all human rights violations in the region;
١ - تثني على كل من المقرر الخاص السابق والمقررة الخاصة الجديدة للجنة حقوق الانسان المعنيين بحالة حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة لجهودهما، وتلاحظ أن وجود المقرر يمكن أن يكون عاملا ايجابيا في تخفيض حالات انتهاكات حقوق الانسان في المنطقة؛

At its fiftieth session in 1994, the Commission referred to this matter in its resolutions 1994/72 and 1994/75 on violations of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, and in resolution 1994/77 on the rape and abuse of women in former Yugoslavia.
ففي دورتها الخمسين المعقودة عام ١٩٩٤، أشارت اللجنة الى هذه المسألة في قراريها ١٩٩٤/٧٢ و ١٩٩٤/٧٥ المتعلقين بانتهاكات حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة، وفي القرار ١٩٩٤/٧٧ المتعلق باغتصاب النساء وامتهانهن في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة.

In the words of the former Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, Mr. Tadeusz Mazowiecki, " the very stability of international order and the principle of civilization is at stake over the question of Bosnia " (E/CN.4/1996/9, annex I).
وكما قال المقرر الخاص السابق بشأن حالة حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة، السيد تاديوش مازوفيتسكي، " ]ف[ إن استقرار النظام الدولي ومبدأ المدنية هما موضوع الرهان حول مسألة البوسنة " )E/CN.4/1996/9، المرفق اﻷول(.

The Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the territory of the former Yugoslavia found that this was the case in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Croatia. 21/ The thousands of Korean women forced to serve as military sexual slaves during the Second World War is another example of rape being used as a weapon of war. 22/
وقد وجد المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة حقوق الانسان في إقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة أن الحال كان كذلك في البوسنة والهرسك وكرواتيا)٢١(. ومن اﻷمثلة اﻷخرى على استخدام الاغتصاب كسلاح من أسلحة الحرب أن اﻵلاف من النساء الكوريات أجبرن أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية على العمل كإماء ﻹشباع النوازع الجنسية للعسكريين)٢٢(.
