This report has been prepared pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 3/3 of 8 December 2006 requesting the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to continue to " consult with the Government of Lebanon on the report and its findings and on the relevant recommendations contained therein and to report to the Council at its fourth session " (para. 2).
1- أعد هذا التقرير عملاً بقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 3/3 المؤرخ في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006 الذي يطلب إلى مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن " تتشاور مع حكومة لبنان بشأن التقرير وما خلص إليه من نتائج وبشأن ما ورد فيه من توصيات ذات صلة، وأن تقدم تقريراً إلى المجلس في دورته الرابعة " (الفقرة 2).

The Council takes note of the detailed information conveyed by the Government of Lebanon about the dangerous activities of armed elements and groups, in particular PFLP-GC and Fatah Intifada, and reiterates its call for the disbanding and disarmament of all militias and armed groups in Lebanon.
ويحيط المجلس علما بمعلومات تفصيلية أحالتها إليه حكومة لبنان بشأن أنشطة خطرة تقوم بها عناصر وجماعات مسلحة، وبخاصة الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين - القيادة العامة، وفتح - الانتفاضة، ويكرر دعوته إلى تفكيك ونزع أسلحة جميع المليشيات والجماعات المسلحة في لبنان.

9.6 The Commission has continued its negotiations with the Government of Lebanon regarding the terms of a supplemental memorandum of understanding, which would augment the original memorandum of 13 June 2005.
