16. The Committee urges the Government of Nepal to take all necessary measures to prevent extra-judicial and summary executions, enforced or involuntary disappearances, torture and degrading treatment and illegal or arbitrary detention.
٦١- وتحث اللجنة حكومة نيبال على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لمنع حالات الاعدام خارج نطاق القضاء والاعدام بإجراءات موجزة وحالات الاختفاء القسري أو اللاإرادي والتعذيب والمعاملة المهينة والاحتجاز غير القانوني أو التعسفي.

(d) I urge the Government of Nepal to finalize the process of depositing a binding declaration to the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, as well as amending the national framework to ensure the criminalization of recruitment and use of children in the domestic laws;
(د) أحث حكومة نيبال على الانتهاء من عملية إيداع إعلان ملزم عن إشراك الأطفال في الصراعات المسلحة في البروتوكول الاختياري الملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل، إلى جانب تعديل الإطار القانوني لضمان تجريم تجنيد الأطفال واستخدامهم في القوانين المحلية؛

13. Encourages the Government of Nepal to extend invitations to the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights to visit Nepal, to cooperate fully with them and implement their relevant recommendations, in particular the recent recommendation of the Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances, specifically the recommendation to enforce a complete prohibition on incommunicado detention in military barracks;
13- تشجع حكومة نيبال على توجيه دعوات إلى المسؤولين عن الإجراءات الخاصة للجنة حقوق الإنسان لزيارة نيبال، والتعاون التام معهم وتنفيذ توصياتهم ذات الصلة، لا سيما التوصيات الأخيرة للفريق العامل المعني بحالات الاختفاء القسري أو غير الطوعي، وتحديداً التوصيات المتعلقة بفرض حظر تام للاحتجاز السري في الثكنات العسكرية؛

(j) I encourage the Government of Nepal to invite the Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict to undertake a mission to Nepal in the near future to help draw attention to and highlight the need to mainstream child protection issues into the transition and post-transition priorities of the Government of Nepal and its United Nations and civil society partners.
(ي) أشجع حكومة نيبال على دعوة الممثل الخاص المعني بالأطفال والصراعات المسلحة للاضطلاع بمهمة في نيبال في المستقبل القريب للمساعدة على توجيه الانتباه إلى ضرورة تعميم مسائل حماية الأطفال في الأولويات المتعلقة بالمرحلة الانتقالية وما بعدها لحكومة نيبال وشركائها في الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني وتسليط الضوء على هذه المسائل.

As concerns operative paragraph 7, regarding the physical operation of the Regional Centre from Kathmandu, the Office for Disarmament Affairs is working closely with the Government of Nepal on the matter.
