1. In accordance with Commission on Human Rights resolution 1997/30 of 11 April 1997, the second workshop on a permanent forum for indigenous people within the United Nations system was held in Santiago from 30 June to 2 July 1997.
١- وفقاً لقرار لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان ٧٩٩١/٠٣ المؤرخ في ١١ نيسان/أبريل ٧٩٩١، عقدت حلقة التدارس الثانية بشأن إنشاء محفل دائم للسكان اﻷصليين داخل منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في سانتياغو من ٠٣ حزيران/ يونيه إلى ٢ تموز/يوليه ٧٩٩١.

The Commission on Human Rights, in its resolution 1997/30 of 11 April 1997, invited the Working Group to express its views on the report of the second workshop on the possible establishment of a permanent forum for indigenous people.
وقد طلبت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان في قرارها ٧٩٩١/٠٣ المؤرخ في ١١ نيسان/أبريل ٧٩٩١، إلى الفريق العامل أن يبدي آراءه بشأن تقرير حلقة التدارس الثانية بشأن إمكانية إنشاء محفل دائم للسكان اﻷصليين.

28. The Group strongly supported the organization of the second workshop for indigenous journalists in Atlanta, United States of America, should sufficient funding be made available, in cooperation with the Carter Center, and suggested that the expenditures to be funded by the Fund be scaled down.
28- أيد الفريق بشدة تنظيم حلقة التدارس الثانية للصحافيين من السكان الأصليين في أطلنطا بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، إذا توافر التمويل الكافي، بالتعاون مع مركز كارتر، واقترح تقليل المصاريف التي سيمولها الصندوق.

181. The Commission on Human Rights, in its resolution 1997/30, requested the High Commissioner to convene the second workshop on a permanent forum for indigenous people in the United Nations system for a period of three days prior to the fifteenth session of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations.
١٨١- رجت اللجنة من المفوض السامي لحقوق اﻹنسان، في قرارها ٧٩٩١/٠٣، عقد حلقة التدارس الثانية بشأن إنشاء محفل دائم للسكان اﻷصليين في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وذلك لمدة ثلاثة أيام قبل الدورة الخامسة عشرة للفريق العامل المعني بالسكان اﻷصليين.
