Stresses the importance of the participation of experts from developing countries and from countries with economies in transition in the work of the Committee, calls in that regard for voluntary contributions to facilitate their participation, including through support for travel and daily subsistence, and invites Member States and international organizations in a position to do so to contribute;
2 - يؤكد أهمية مشاركة خبراء من البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية في أعمال اللجنة ويدعو، في هذا الصدد، إلى تقديم تبرعات لتيسير مشاركتهم، بوسائل منها دعم تكاليف السفر وبدلات الإقامة اليومية، ويدعو الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الدولية التي تستطيع المساهمة إلى أن تفعل ذلك؛

The Board, at its forty-ninth session, would have to consider the issue of having two regular sessions each year instead of one, and a long-term solution would have to be found before the end of 2002 to the issue of predictable financing of the participation of experts from developing countries and countries in transition.
ويتعين على المجلس أن يقوم في دورته التاسعة والأربعين بالنظر في مسألة عقد دورتين عاديتين في السنة بدلاً من دورة واحدة، ويتعين إيجاد حل طويل الأجل قبل نهاية عام 2002 لمسألة التمويل الذي يمكن التنبؤ به لتغطية مشاركة خبراء من البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها في مرحلة انتقالية.
