The Vienna Conference had demonstrated the important role played by the provision of advisory services and technical assistance in helping States to strengthen the institutions of democracy and human rights.
٢١ - واستطرد يقول إن مؤتمر فيينا أثبت أهمية الدور الذي يؤديه توفير خدمات المشورة والمساعدة التقنية في مساعدة الدول على تعزيز المؤسسات الديمقراطية وحقوق اﻹنسان.

5. The Secretary-General was also requested to give adequate attention to countries in the Asian and Pacific region by allocating more resources from existing United Nations funds to enable the countries of the region to benefit from all activities under the programme of advisory services and technical assistance in the field of human rights.

٣ - يوافق كذلك على مناشدة اللجنة المفوضة السامية تزويد البلدان التي زارها المقرر الخاص المعني باﻷشكال المعاصرة والتمييز العنصري وكراهية اﻷجانب وما يتصل بذلك من خدمات المشورة والمساعدة التقنية عندما تطلبها منها، لتمكينها من تنفيذ توصيات المقرر الخاص تنفيذا تاما؛

(g) advisory services and technical assistance to the least developed countries and those graduating from that category in improving their capacity to overcome structural development bottlenecks and identifying needs and opportunities for international economic cooperation.
