14- وعملاً بما اتفقت عليه اللجنة في دورتها السابعة، عقدت الأمانة اجتماع خبراء بشأن تطوير خدمات النقل المتعدد الوسائط والخدمات اللوجستية في الفترة من 24 إلى 26 أيلول/سبتمبر 2003.

The Expert Meeting on the Development of multimodal transport and Logistics Services was held from 24 to 26 September 2003, pursuant to the decision taken by the Commission on Enterprise, Business Facilitation and Development at its seventh session.
1- عقد اجتماع الخبراء المعني بتنمية خدمات النقل المتعدد الوسائط والخدمات اللوجستية في الفترة من 24 إلى 26 أيلول/سبتمبر 2003، بناءً على المقرر الذي اتخذته لجنة المشاريع وتيسير الأعمال التجارية والتنمية في دورتها السابعة.

The objective of the meeting was to help Governments and the trade and transport industry examine policy alternatives and actions in the wake of new developments so as to promote the development of multimodal transport and logistics services.
2- وكان الهدف من الاجتماع هو مساعدة الحكومات وقطاع التجارة والنقل في دراسة بدائل السياسات والإجراءات في أعقاب التطورات الجديدة من أجل تعزيز تنمية خدمات النقل المتعدد الوسائط والخدمات اللوجستية.

The UNCTAD secretariat has prepared a report entitled " Competitive services in multimodal transport " (TD/B/CN.4/46) which identifies issues to be addressed in the course of formulating and implementing liberalization programmes and constraints faced by multimodal transport service suppliers in providing and using competitive services.
أعدت أمانة اﻷونكتاد تقريراً بعنوان " الخدمات القادرة على المنافسة في مجال النقل المتعدد الوسائط " )TD/B/CN.4/46(، وهو يحدد القضايا الواجب معالجتها أثناء صوغ برامج التحرير وتنفيذها والعوائق التي يواجهها موردو خدمات النقل المتعدد الوسائط في توفير الخدمات القادرة على المنافسة واستخدامها.
