19- وتسلِّم اللجنة بجهود الدولة الطرف المبذولة في سبيل إمداد الشعوب الأصلية بالتغطية الصحية، آخذةً في حسبانها خصائصها الثقافية.

ولقد ذُكر أيضا أن استراتيجيات التصدي للفقر بين الشعوب الأصلية لن تراعي خصائصها الثقافية في عمليات ورقات استراتيجية الحد من الفقر بدون مشاركة هذه الشعوب واستشارتها على نحو مناسب.
