50. Authority in all personnel matters, with corresponding accountability, except for that retained by the Secretary-General, or, with respect to current staff holding UNDP letters of appointment, by the UNDP Administrator, shall be vested in the Executive Director through appropriate delegation of authority from the Administrator upon request by the Secretary-General.
