وبغية مساعدة الأطرف في تحديد خطوات التخفيض المناسبة، اتفقت الجماعة الأوروبية والبلدان العشرة المنضمة إليها في اجتماع الفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية المعقود في الفترة من 7-11 تموز/يوليه 2003 في مونتريال على تقديم مزيد من المعلومات لكي تنظر فيها الأطراف.

A contact group was established on 11 November 2003 to discuss the proposal of the European Community for further interim reduction steps for methyl bromide for Parties operating under Article 5.
