٨ - تطلب أيضا إلى اﻷمين العام، من أجل خفض تكاليف استخدام موظفي فئة الخدمات العامة، أن يواصل الجهود المبذولة لاستخدام موظفين معينين محليا للبعثة على وظائف فئة الخدمات العامة، بما يتناسب مع الاحتياجات التشغيلية والفنية لبعثة اﻷمم المتحدة للشرطة المدنية في هايتي؛

16. It will be recalled that the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General, in order to reduce the cost of employing General Service staff, to take the necessary steps to employ locally recruited staff in peacekeeping operations commensurate with the operational requirements of such posts.
١٦- وتجدر اﻹشارة إلى أن الجمعية العامة طلبت إلى اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ الخطوات اللازمة لاستخدام الموظفين المعينين محليا في عمليات حفظ السلام بما يتناسب مع الاحتياجات التشغيلية لهذه الوظائف، وذلك بهدف خفض تكاليف استخدام الموظفين من فئة الخدمات العامة.
