36. Attention has also been drawn to the closing of the Association of Young Lawyers of Tajikistan (Amparo), a leading organization that provides free legal aid, human rights education and training, following a decision of the Khujand City Court of 24 October 2012.

The Committee for Religious Affairs, in August and September 2012, at the Islamic Institute of Tajikistan and at the jamoats of the cities of Khujand and Isfara and of the Asht Rayon, conducted three-week seminars on the topic " The role of religious ministers in the solution of the acute problems of society " .
