Much of the verification groundwork has been completed, thanks to the untiring efforts of Dr. Peter Marshal and Dr. Ola Dahlman and the GSE.

Sweden intends to actively contribute to this work, and I am pleased that Dr. Ola Dahlman has been appointed Chairman of the Working Group in charge of verification issues under the PrepCom.

The Ad Hoc Group met from 7 to 23 February, from 20 to 24 May and 5 to 16 August under the Chairmanship of Dr. Ola Dahlman of Sweden.
وكان الفريق المخصص قد اجتمع في الفترة من ٧ الى ٣٢ شباط/فبراير، ومن ٠٢ الى ٤٢ أيار/مايو، ومن ٥ الى ٦١ آب/أغسطس برئاسة دكتور أولا دالمان من السويد.

The Ad Hoc Group met from 20 February to 3 March and 7 to 18 August under the Chairmanship of Dr. Ola Dahlman of Sweden.
وكان الفريق المخصص قد اجتمع في الفترة من ٠٢ شباط/فبراير إلى ٣ آذار/مارس، ومن ٧ إلى ٨١ آب/أغسطس برئاسة الدكتور أُولا دالمان من السويد.

Agreement seems to be at hand on the basic verification methods, thanks in large extent to the persistent efforts by Dr. Peter Marshall and his team of experts, as well as by Dr. Ola Dahlman and the Group of Scientific Experts.
ويبدو ان الاتفاق قريب المتناول بشأن اساليب التحقق اﻷساسية، ويرجع الفضل في ذلك الى حد كبير الى الجهود المستمرة التي يبذلها الدكتور بيتر مارشال وفريقه من الخبراء، وأيضا الدكتور اولا دالمان وفريق الخبراء العلميين.

Mr. Dahlman (Sweden): I am pleased to report to you on the meeting of the Ad Hoc Group of Scientific Experts which took place from 12 to 23 February 1996, and to introduce the progress report contained in CD/1385.
