Here below are some examples from the Constitution of Eritrea, 1996, that prevent discrimination.
وفيما يلي بعض الأمثلة المأخوذة من دستور إريتريا لعام 1996 التي توضح منع التمييز.

the Constitution of Eritrea consigns all persons with equality before the law, and prohibits any form of discrimination based on diversity of sex, religion or any other creed.
311- يضفي دستور إريتريا المساواة أمام القانون على جميع الأشخاص، ويحظر أي شكل من أشكال التمييز على أساس الجنس أو الدين أو أي معتقد آخر.

16- وينص دستور إريتريا وقوانين أخرى ذات صلة على أنه يحق لأي شخص لديه مشكلة إدارية، انتُهكت حقوقه أو مصالحه أو تعرضت للتهديد، أن يلتمس انتصافاً إدارياً مناسباً.

17. the Constitution of Eritrea, the Transitional Civil Code of Eritrea and other relevant Eritrean laws contain provisions to guarantee citizens' right to life.
17- يتضمن كل من دستور إريتريا والقانون المدني الانتقالي لإريتريا، وغيرهما من القوانين ذات الصلة أحكاماً تكفل حق المواطنين في الحياة.

24. the Constitution of Eritrea and other pertinent laws provide that every citizen has the right of equal access to publicly funded social services.
24- ينص دستور إريتريا وغيره من القوانين ذات الصلة على أنه يحق لكل شخص الحصول على الخدمات الاجتماعية التي تمولها الدولة وعلى نحو من المساواة.

32- ينص دستور إريتريا وغيره من القوانين ذات الصلة على أن الدولة ملزمة بأن تبذل قصارى جهدها، في حدود مواردها، لجعل الخدمات الصحية متاحة لجميع المواطنين.

46. the Constitution of Eritrea and other pertinent laws provide that every citizen has the right to participate freely in any economic activity and to engage in any lawful business.
46- ينص دستور إريتريا وغيره من القوانين ذات الصلة على أن لكل مواطن الحق في أن يشارك بحرية في أي نشاط اقتصادي ومزاولة أية أعمال مشروعة.

78. the Constitution of Eritrea and other pertinent laws expressly provide that citizens have the freedom to practice any religion and to manifest such practice.
78- ينص دستور إريتريا وغيره من القوانين ذات الصلة صراحة على أن المواطنين يتمتعون بحرية ممارسة أي دين وإظهار هذه الممارسة.

79. the Constitution of Eritrea explicitly provides that citizens enjoy freedom of speech and expression, including freedom of the press and other media, and a right of access to information.
79- وينص دستور إريتريا على أن جميع المواطنين يتمتعون بحرية الكلام والتعبير، بما في ذلك حرية الصحافة وغيرها من وسائط الإعلام، والحق في الوصول إلى المعلومات.

84. Recommendations 17 - 21 on the Implementation of the Constitution and 22 - 24 on the Establishment of an independent body: Article 32(11) of the Eritrean Constitution envisages the establishment of a national institution to promote and protect human rights.
84- التوصيات من 17 إلى 21 المتعلقة بتنفيذ الدستور والتوصيات من 22 إلى 24 المتعلقة بإنشاء هيئة مستقلة: تنص المادة 32(11) من دستور إريتريا على إنشاء مؤسسة وطنية لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها.

With regard to marriage for example, the Eritrean Constitution asserts that: " Men and Women of full legal age shall have the right, upon their consent, to marry and found a family freely, without discrimination and they shall have equal rights and duties as to all family affairs. "
وفيما يتعلق بالزواج على سبيل المثال، يؤكد دستور إريتريا أن " الرجال والنساء الذين بلغوا السن القانونية لهم الحق، بشرط الرضا، في أن يتزوجوا وأن يؤسسوا أسرة بحرية، دون تمييز، وأن لكل منهما حقوقاً وواجبات متساوية بالنسبة لجميع أمور الأسرة " .
