As indicated in paragraph 102 of annex I to the report, one of the functions of the Unit is the update of the Standard Cost Manual and preparation of standard ratios based on historical data and experience in the field.

٤ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم إليها ميزانية نموذجية لعملية وحيدة من عمليات حفظ السلم، تستند الى دليل التكاليف القياسية المذكورة أعلاه لكي تنظر فيها، مع مراعاة تعليقات اللجنة الاستشارية واﻵراء التي أعربت عنها الدول اﻷعضاء؛

5. Requests the Advisory Committee to review the proposed Standard Cost Manual and the mock-up budget by 31 August 1995, with a view to presenting its views on them to the General Assembly at its fiftieth session;
٥ - تطلب الى اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون اﻹدارة والميزانية أن تستعرض، بحلول ٣١ آب/ أغسطس ١٩٩٥، دليل التكاليف القياسية والميزانية النموذجية، بغية تقديم آرائها بشأنهما الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخمسين؛

18. The absence of the final copy of the Standard Cost Manual had made it difficult for the Advisory Committee to relate requests for funds to data in the standard ratio/cost manual.

79. Related to the creation of the Standard Cost Manual described above, standard specifications are being extended for those types of equipment and related supplies (primarily non-military) which are regularly utilized in the missions, to ensure inter- and intra-mission compatibility both for procurement and redeployment purposes.
٩٧ - هناك أمر يتصل بوضع دليل التكاليف القياسية المذكور هو أنه يجري توسيع أنواع المعدات واللوازم ذات الصلة )وهي أساسا غير عسكرية( التي تستخدمها البعثات بانتظام، من أجل تأمين التكافؤ داخلها وفيما بينها، سواء بغرض الشراء أو إعادة الوزع.

10. By incorporating historical data and lessons learned from various field operations, as well as current planning methodologies, planning staff will be able to project the critical planning path for new operations, specify the equipment requirements and support infrastructure, and ensure sound budget estimates using the Standard Cost Manual (see para. 26 below).
١٠ - سيتمكن موظفو التخطيط من إسقاط المسار الحرج لتخطيط العمليات الجديدة، وتحديد الاحتياجات من المعدات والهيكل اﻷساسي للدعم، وكفالة وجود تقديرات سليمة للميزانية من أجل استخدام دليل التكاليف القياسية )انظر الفقرة ٢٦ أدناه(. وذلك بإدراج البيانات التاريخية والدروس المستفادة من مختلف العمليات الميدانية، فضلا عن منهجيات التخطيط الراهنة.
