" ويعرب المجلس عن مساندته التامة للجهود التي تبذلها دول المنطقة وغيرها من الدول المهتمة باﻷمر، فضلا عن المنظمات الدولية واﻹقليمية، ولا سيما منظمة الوحدة اﻷفريقية، والهيئة الحكومية الدولية للتنمية، وجامعة الدول العربية، من أجل التشجيع على إجراء حوار سياسي مباشر وتيسير التوصل إلى تسوية سياسية عريضة القاعدة للحالة في الصومال.
