143. Concerning coverage of economic loss, some delegations stated that the right to compensation should include economic loss suffered where a person's ability to derive income was affected by an activity, and should include loss of profit.
143 - وفيما يتعلق بتغطية الخسارة الاقتصادية، ذكرت بعض الوفود أن الحق في التعويض ينبغي أن يشمل الخسارة الاقتصادية الناجمة عن تأثر قدرة الشخص على توليد الدخل بسبب نشاط ما، وينبغي أن تشمل فوات الربح.

With regard to draft article 18, some delegations stated that the latest draft proposal by the Coordinator could be a sound basis for negotiating and reaching a consensus on the text, noting in particular that the proposal constituted a clarification of various aspects of the previous text of the draft article.

٠٦ - وفيما يتعلق بمسألة الولايات التي أعطيت ﻹدارة شؤون اﻹعلام ذكرت بعض الوفود أن هناك حاجة إلى استعراض الولايات المتعددة لتلك اﻹدارة، وطلبت أن تقدم اﻷمانة قائمة كاملة بتلك الولايات.

86. Recommendations 8, 10 and 13. some delegations stated that any actions on those recommendations should be based on decisions of relevant intergovernmental bodies.
٨٦ - التوصيات ٨ و٠١ و٣١: ذكرت بعض الوفود أن أي إجراءات تتعلق بهذه التوصيات يجب أن تستند إلى ما تتخذه الهيئات الحكومية الدولية ذات الصلة من قرارات.

Among the offences that could be included in such a list, some delegations mentioned, for instance, genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and torture, as well as terrorism and corruption.

With regard to the question of possible exceptions to immunity ratione personae, some delegations recalled that such immunity was status-based; accordingly, it would be important not to render its principal aim meaningless by introducing exceptions that could not be justified or whose implications might entail difficulties in implementation.
25 - وفي ما يتعلق بمسألة الاستثناءات الممكنة من الحصانة الشخصية، ذكرت بعض الوفود أن هذه الحصانة مبنية على الصفة؛ لذا فمن المهم عدم إفراغ هدفها الرئيسي من المعنى بالأخذ باستثناءات لا يمكن تبريرها أو قد تؤدي آثارها إلى صعوبات في التنفيذ.

5. During the discussion of this item in the General Committee certain delegations stated that it was difficult to understand the scientific terms used in the reports. It was also suggested that a more systematic format should be used for these periodic reports. In addition, the view was expressed that these reports should indicate the impact of the activities of the registered pioneer investors on the marine environment.
٥ - وخلال مناقشة هذا البند في مكتب اللجنة، ذكرت بعض الوفود أنه من الصعب فهم المصطلحات العلمية المستخدمة في التقارير، وأشير أيضا إلى أنه ينبغي أن تستخدم في هذه التقارير الدورية صيغة أكثر انتظاما، وجرى اﻹعراب أيضا عن رأي مفاده أنه ينبغي أن تبين تلك التقارير أثر أنشطة المستثمرين الرواد المسجلين على البيئة البحرية.
