The Committee noted that, under article 4 of the Law on an Equal Gender Society of 2004, employers were required to ensure that their workers received equal remuneration for work of equal value.

According to the proposal, an employer's action is discriminatory when less favourable remuneration and other employment terms are applied to an employee or groups of employees on the grounds of sex than to another employee or other groups of employees doing the same work or work of equal value.
فيعتبر تصرف صاحب العمل، بموجب الاقتراح، تمييزيا اذا طبق على مستخدَم أو مجموعة مستخدمين أجورا وشروط استخدام أدنى من تلك المطبقة على مستخدم أو مجموعة مستخدمين آخرين عن نفس العمل أو عن عمل ذي قيمة متساوية.
