In his reply, the Chairman of the Visiting Mission laid down the objectives of the visit and thanked the people of Tokelau for the opportunity afforded to the United Nations to observe developments which had taken place in the Territory since the last Visiting Mission in 1986.
وفي رده، عرض رئيس البعثة الزائرة أهداف الزيارة ووجه الشكر الى شعب توكيلا للفرصة التي أتيحت لﻷمم المتحدة لمراقبة التطورات التي وقعت في الاقليم منذ زيارة البعثة الزائرة اﻷخيرة في عام ١٩٨٦.

9. The Chairman of the Visiting Mission as well as the representatives of Papua New Guinea and Sierra Leone replied to questions put to the members of the Visiting Mission by the representative of Mali.
٩ - وأجاب رئيس البعثة الزائرة وممثلا بابوا غينيا الجديدة وسيراليون على أسئلة وجهها ممثل مالي الى أعضاء البعثة الزائرة.

11. Also at the 1440th meeting, the Chairman of the Visiting Mission introduced draft resolution A/AC.109/L.1825.
١١ - وفي الجلسة ١٤٤٠ أيضا، قدم رئيس البعثة الزائرة مشروع القرار A/AC.109/L.1825.

9. The Chairman of the Visiting Mission, as well as the representatives of Papua New Guinea and Sierra Leone, replied to questions put to the members of the Visiting Mission by the representative of Mali.
٩ - وأجاب رئيس البعثة الزائرة وممثلا بابوا غينيا الجديدة وسيراليون على أسئلة وجهها ممثل مالي إلى أعضاء البعثة الزائرة.

12. In the ensuing exchange of views, in which the representatives of Grenada, Sierra Leone, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, India and Mali, as well as the Chairman of the Visiting Mission and the Acting Chairman of the Special Committee participated, the following amendments to draft resolution A/AC.109/L.1825 were proposed:
١٢ - وفي تبادل اﻵراء الذي جرى عقب ذلك، والذي اشترك فيه ممثلو غرينادا، وسيراليون، وكوبا، وترينيداد وتوباغو، والهند، ومالي، كما اشترك فيه رئيس البعثة الزائرة ورئيس اللجنة الخاصة بالنيابة، اقترح إدخال التعديلات التالية على مشروع القرار A/AC.109/L.1825.

6. At the 1440th meeting, on 15 September, the Chairman drew attention to the report of the Visiting Mission (A/AC.109/2009) as well as to a draft resolution on the item (A/AC.109/L.1825), submitted by the Chairman of the Visiting Mission.
٦ - وفي الجلسة ١٤٤٠ المعقودة في ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر، وجه الرئيس الانتباه الى تقرير البعثة الزائرة (A/AC.109/2009) والى مشروع قرار متعلق بهذا البند مقدم من رئيس البعثة الزائرة.

12. In the ensuing exchange of views in which the representatives of Grenada, Sierra Leone, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, India and Mali, as well as the Chairman of the Visiting Mission and the Acting Chairman participated, the following amendments to draft resolution A/AC.109/L.1825 were proposed:
١٢ - وفي تبادل اﻵراء الذي جرى عقب ذلك، والذي اشترك فيه ممثلو غرينادا، وسيراليون، وكوبا، وترينيداد وتوباغو، والهند، ومالي، كما اشترك فيه رئيس البعثة الزائرة والرئيس بالنيابة، اقترح إدخال التعديلات التالية على مشروع القرار A/AC.109/L.1825.

107. In introducing the report and a related draft resolution contained in document T/L.1290, the representative of France, on behalf of the Chairman of the Visiting Mission, Mr. Alain Pallu de Beaupuy, stated that the Mission had visited Palau from 5 to 12 November 1993.
١٠٧ - ونيابة عن رئيس البعثة الزائرة السيد ألن بالو دو بويبي، ذكر ممثل فرنسا، لدى عرضه للتقرير ومشروع القرار ذي الصلة الوارد في الوثيقة T/L.1290، أن البعثة زارت بالاو في الفترة من ٥ الى ١٢ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٣.

Subsequently, the delegations concerned designated the following representatives to serve on the Visiting Mission: Mr. Amor Ardhaoui (Tunisia) (Chairman of the Visiting Mission), Ms. Cecilia Mackenna (Chile), Mr. Utula Utuoc Samana (Papua New Guinea), and Mr. Andrew Bangali (Sierra Leone).
وإثر ذلك عينت هذه الوفود الممثلين التالية أسماؤهم للاضطلاع بمهام البعثة الزائرة: السيد عمرو عرضاوي )تونس( )رئيس البعثة الزائرة(، السيدة سيسيليا مكينا )شيلي(، السيد أوتولا ادتودك سامانا )بابوا غينيا الجديدة(، والسيد أندرو بنغالي )سيراليون(.
