The General Assembly should request the Secretary-General, in his capacity as Chair of CEB, to promote mutual exchange of views and lessons learned from experience through a peer-review process among the organizations in the Environment Management Group, to enhance their environmental management and performance.

In paragraph 100 of the report, the Committee recommended that the General Assembly bring to the attention of the Secretary-General, in his capacity as Chair of CEB, the need for the Board to continue to act in accordance with its mandate of enhancing system-wide coordination and in conformity with the intergovernmental mandates of its member organizations.

(a) The Secretary-General, as Chair of CEB, should request UN-Oceans to revise its terms of reference, paying particular attention to avoiding overlaps with existing mechanisms and taking into consideration the relevant outcomes from the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development;
(أ) ينبغي أن يطلب الأمين العام، بصفته رئيس مجلس الرؤساء التنفيذيين المعني بالتنسيق، إلى شبكة الأمم المتحدة للمحيطات، أن تنقّح اختصاصاتها، مع ايلاء اهتمام خاص لتفادي أوجه التداخل مع الآليات القائمة ومراعاة النتائج ذات الصلة بالموضوع لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة؛

It encourages the Secretary-General, as Chairman of CEB, to foster deeper coordination and collaboration between the United Nations organizations in all matters related to information and communications technology.
وتشجع الأمين العام، بصفته رئيس مجلس الرؤساء التنفيذيين المعني بالتنسيق، على تعزيز تنسيق وتعاون أعمق بين منظمات الأمم المتحدة في جميع المسائل ذات الصلة بتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات.

In addition, it is expected that, as Chairman of CEB, the Secretary-General should pursue the implementation of recommendations 17 and 18.

47 - واستجابة لطلب في جدول أعمال تونس موجه للأمين العام بصفته رئيس مجلس الرؤساء التنفيذيين في منظومة الأمم المتحدة المعني بالتنسيق، فقد وافق المجلس الآن على إنشاء فريق الأمم المتحدة المعني بمجتمع المعلومات بغرض تنسيق أنشطة منظومة الأمم المتحدة ضمن إطار تنفيذ ومتابعة مؤتمر القمة العالمي المعني بمجتمع المعلومات.

8. Requests the Secretary-General, in his capacity as Chair of the Chief Executives Board for Coordination, to invite the heads of the entities to continue to address underlying challenges related to the implementation of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards, including those related to inventory;

46. The Secretary-General, in his capacity as CEB Chair, had called upon member organizations to ensure good communication with the Unit, respond quickly to requests for information and ensure timely follow-up on its recommendations.
