At 0900 hours three vehicles mounting Katyusha launchers, one Land Cruiser and two pick-ups, were seen coming from the Iranian rear. They came to a halt at coordinates 5499, opposite the Zayn al-Qaws slope.

At 1330 hours a Santana-type Iranian military vehicle mounting a Katyusha rocket launcher and a Land Cruiser pick-up truck with a 106-mm gun and a 120-mm mortar were seen arriving from the Iranian rear and coming to a halt at the Iranian burial ground at coordinates 790015.

12. 25 August 2002 At 1100 hours a military column was seen opposite the Zayn al-Qaws slope coming from the Iranian rear towards the Tabah Qarash outpost at coordinates 54959. It consisted of 20 khaki-coloured Land Cruiser pick-ups and 10 military cargo trucks carrying soldiers, seven Santana vehicles, five of them mounting 106-mm guns and two mounting Katyushas, and one ambulance. 13. 26 August 2002
في الساعة 00/11 شوهد رتل عسكري مقابل عارضة زين القوس قادم من العمق الإيراني باتجاه مخفر تبه قرش م ت (54959) يتكون من (20) عجلة لاندكروز بيك آب خاكية اللون و (10) عجلة لوري حمل عسكري محملة بالجنود و (7) عجلة (سنتان) (5) منها تحمل مدفع عيار 106 ملم و (2) تحمل راجمة كاتيوشا وعجلة إسعاف واحدة.

At 1330 hours three Iranian Land Cruisers carrying 20 persons, one mounting a PKT machine-gun and another carrying the base of a Katyusha launcher, were seen opposite the Arafat outpost at coordinates 9765 at the Iranian position at coordinates 9864. They deployed around the position and replaced the Iranian flag. At 1400 hours they withdrew to the Iranian rear.
في الساعة 30/13 شوهدت ثلاث عجلات إيرانية نوع لاندكروز تحمل (20) شخصا العجلة الأولى تحمل رشاشة نوع نكته والثانية تحمل قاعدة راجمة كاتيوشا أمام مخفر عرفات م ت (9765) في النقطة الإيرانية م ت (9864) وقاموا بالانتشار حول النقطة وتبديل العلم الإيراني وبالساعة 00/14 انسحبوا إلى العمق الإيراني.
