Enhancing its cooperation with United Nations specialized agencies, programmes, special mechanisms and the other human rights treaty bodies and other bodies working on issues that bear upon the Covenant;

The Special Rapporteur would like to thank the relevant treaty bodies, in particular the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), from which he received valuable advice and suggestions for the preparation of this study.

33. The Special Adviser maintained close contact and exchanges of information with relevant procedures of the Commission on Human Rights and human rights treaty bodies.

4. Also encourages the Special Rapporteur to cooperate, in accordance with his mandate, with other rapporteurs, representatives, experts, notably the independent expert on the question of human rights and extreme poverty, members and chairpersons of working groups of the Commission, and United Nations bodies, including human rights treaty bodies;
4- تشجع أيضاً المقرر الخاص على التعاون، بمقتضى الولاية المسندة إليه، مع غيره من المقررين والممثلين والخبراء، لا سيما الخبيرة المستقلة المعنية بمسألة حقوق الإنسان والفقر المدقع، وأعضاء ورؤساء الأفرقة العاملة في اللجنة وهيئات الأمم المتحدة، بما فيها هيئات رصد الامتثال لمعاهدات حقوق الإنسان؛

8. Requests the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to support cooperation between the Special Rapporteur and other rapporteurs, representatives, experts, members and chairpersons of working groups of the Commission and United Nations bodies, including human rights treaty bodies, that are relevant to the mandate of the Special Rapporteur;
8- تطلب إلى مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان أن يساند التعاون بين المقرر الخاص وغيره من المقررين والممثلين والخبراء وأعضاء الأفرقة العاملة التابعة للجنة ورؤسائها ومع أجهزة الأمم المتحدة، بما فيها هيئات رصد الامتثال لمعاهدات حقوق الإنسان، التي تكون ذات صلة بولاية المقرر الخاص؛

All the national presentations will be compiled and submitted to an expert group consisting of one representative of each of the six main human rights treaty bodies which I will ask to study the presentations and to present a general analysis and recommendations to me.

Indigenous representatives also proposed that the Working Group could facilitate a dialogue between indigenous peoples and the treaty bodies, in particular the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the Human Rights Committee and the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

The Committee has welcomed the launch of the Global Plan of Action for the Genevabased human rights treaty bodies and the creation of a petitions team.

15. The Office also supports the work of the special procedures and treaty bodies in addressing access to medication.
15- والمفوضية بمعالجتها مسألة إمكانية الحصول على الأدوية، تدعم كذلك عمل الهيئات المكلفة بالإجراءات الخاصة والهيئات التي تتولى رصد الامتثال لمعاهدات حقوق الإنسان.

OHCHR has continued through 2004 to provide briefings on HIV/AIDS issues to the human rights treaty bodies in relation to the consideration of country reports.
وواصلت المفوضية خلال عام 2004 إحاطة هيئات رصد الامتثال لمعاهدات حقوق الإنسان بالقضايا المتعلقة بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية/الإيدز، وذلك في إطار نظرها في التقارير القطرية.
