[- الامتناع عن التهديد باستعمال القوة أو استخدامها ضد سلامة الأراضي أو الاستقلال السياسي لأية دولة؛

All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.
يمتنع أعضاء الهيئة جميعا في علاقاتهم الدولية عن التهديد باستخدام القوة أو استخدامها ضد سلامة الأراضي أو الاستقلال السياسي لأية دولة، أو على أي وجه آخر لا يتفق ومقاصد الأمم المتحدة.

Any steps to undermine international law, which was based on respect for the territorial integrity of existing States, would contribute to increased instability and have unforeseeable consequences.
واتخاذ أي خطوات في سبيل تقويض القانون الدولي، القائم على أساس احترام سلامة الأراضي الإقليمية للدول القائمة، إنما سيسهم في زيادة عدم الاستقرار كما سيكون له عواقب لا يمكن التنبؤ بها.
