وأكدت بعض الوفود ضرورة منع اتخاذ تدابير أحادية الطرف، أو سن قوانين وطنية تتجاوز آثارها الحدود الوطنية منعا باتا بوصفها تمثل أحد خيارات السياسة التجارية المتعلقة بالنظام التجاري المتعدد اﻷطراف.

It was also pointed out that fisheries and the protection of the marine environment still required the conclusion of detailed agreements at the regional and international levels as well as the enactment of national laws in many States.

325. The Committee urges the State party to enact national legislation to prohibit female genital mutilation, including penalties for perpetrators, remedies and support for victims, with a view to eliminating this harmful practice.
325 - وتحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على سن قوانين وطنية لحظر ختان الإناث، تشمل توقيع عقوبات على مَن يزاولونه، وتوفير سبل الانتصاف والدعم للضحايا، بغرض القضاء على هذه الممارسة الضارة.

69. The Committee recommends that the State party regularize the status of refugees recognized by UNHCR by enacting national laws allowing children of refugees and asylum seekers who reside in Kuwait to enjoy their right to education and health care.
69- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بتسوية وضع اللاجئين الذين تعترف بهم مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لشؤون اللاجئين عن طريق سن قوانين وطنية تسمح لأطفال اللاجئين وملتمسي اللجوء المقيمين في الكويت بالتمتع بالحق في التعليم والرعاية الصحية.

Cuba condemned the enactment of national laws and the adoption of unilateral measures against other States and called for the immediate lifting of the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed against it for more than 50 years.
وأختتم حديثه قائلا إن كوبا تدين سن قوانين وطنية واعتماد تدابير من جانب واحد ضد دول أخرى، ودعا إلى الرفع الفوري للحصار الاقتصادي والتجاري والمالي المفروض عليها لأكثر من 50 عاما.

22 - وتحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على سن قوانين وطنية لحظر ختان الإناث، تشمل توقيع عقوبات على مَن يزاولونه، وتوفير سبل الانتصاف والدعم للضحايا، بغرض القضاء على هذه الممارسة الضارة.

37. Regarding female genital mutilation and breast ironing, CEDAW urged Cameroon to enact national legislation to prohibit harmful practices and strengthen its awareness-raising on the issue.
37- وفيما يتعلق بممارسة تشويه الأعضاء التناسلية الأنثوية وكيّ الثديين، حثت اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة الكاميرون على سن قوانين وطنية تحظر الممارسات الضارة وعلى تكثيف جهودها في مجال التوعية بهذه المسألة(71).

The Rome Statute entered into force only on 1 July 2002, yet the Court is already having an important impact by putting would-be violators on notice that impunity is not assured and serving as a catalyst for enacting national laws against the gravest international crimes.
ولم يبدأ نفاذ نظام روما الأساسي إلا في 1 تموز/يوليه 2002، غير أن المحكمة لها بالفعل أثر هام في تحذير المنتهكين المحتملين بأن إفلاتهم من العقاب ليس أمرا مضمونا، كما أنها بمثابة عامل حفاز على سن قوانين وطنية ضد أخطر الجرائم الدولية.
