In that regard, the Meeting acknowledged the need to strengthen the added value of the United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice in terms of the development and application of criminal justice policies, and recommended that those standards and norms be made integral components of a model criminal justice system.
وفي هذا الصدد، أقرّ الاجتماع بضرورة تعزيز القيمة المضافة لمعايير الأمم المتحدة وقواعدها في مجال منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية من حيث تطوير سياسات العدالة الجنائية وتطبيقها، وأوصى بجعل تلك المعايير والقواعد مكونات أساسية في نظام نموذجي للعدالة الجنائية.

The Forum was organized into six sessions, in which a total of 25 presentations were given on various topics, including transnational organized crime and its countermeasures, recent trends in international criminal justice policies, and measures to reinforce mutual legal assistance among North-East Asian countries.
وقد نُظِّم المنتدى في ست جلسات، قدِّم فيها ما مجمله 25 عرضًا إيضاحيًا في موضوعات متنوعة، بما في ذلك الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية وتدابير مكافحتها، والاتجاهات الحديثة في سياسات العدالة الجنائية الدولية، وتدابير تعزيز المساعدة القانونية المتبادلة فيما بين بلدان شمال شرق آسيا.

Closer involvement of the community in criminal justice proceedings may have a direct impact on criminal justice policies. While a few criminal cases attract public attention, the vast majority of trials do not.
١٦- وربما تكون للمشاركة الوثيقة من جانب المجتمع المحلي في اجراءات العدالة الجنائية أثر مباشر على سياسات العدالة الجنائية وعلى حين تسترعي قضايا جنائية قليلة اهتمام الجمهور فإن الغالبية العظمى من المحاكمات لا تثير الاهتمام.

25. The Centre intends to elaborate model legislation and provide assistance to requesting Member States in the formulation of criminal justice policies aimed at preventing and controlling organized transnational crime.
٢٥ - يعتزم المركز وضع تشريع نموذجي وتوفير المساعدة للدول اﻷعضاء التي تطلب ذلك في صوغ سياسات العدالة الجنائية الهادفة إلى منع الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية ومكافحتها .
