31. The Ad Hoc Working Group on Trading Opportunities in the New International Trading Context held its second session at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, from 5 to 8 February 1996.

88. The second session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Trading Opportunities in the New International Trading Context was opened on 5 February 1996 at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, by the Chairman of the Group.

1. The Ad Hoc Working Group on Trading Opportunities in the New International Trading Context held its first session at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, from 9 to 13 October 1995.
١- عقد الفريق العامل المخصص للفرص التجارية في سياق التجارة الدولية الجديد دورته اﻷولى في قصر اﻷمم بجنيف في الفترة من ٩ إلى ٣١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ٥٩٩١.

The present report concentrates on technical cooperation requirements in the New International Trading Context in terms of adapting national policies and reinforcing institutional structures, especially human resources and capacity building, needed for the effective participation of developing countries and economies in transition in the evolving international trading system.
٧- ويركز التقرير الحالي على متطلبات التعاون التقني في سياق التجارة الدولية الجديد من حيث تكييف السياسات الوطنية وتعزيز هياكل المؤسسات وخاصة الموارد البشرية وبناء القدرات اللازمة لمشاركة البلدان النامية والاقتصادات التي تمر بمرحلة انتقال مشاركة فعالة في تطوير نظام التجارة الدولية.

288. The first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Trading Opportunities in the New International Trading Context was held in October 1995. The Group analysed opportunities arising from the implementation of the Uruguay Round and the modalities for giving effect to the special provisions on the least developed countries contained in the Final Act.
٢٨٨ - وعُقدت الدورة اﻷولى للفريق العامل المخصص للفرص التجارية في سياق التجارة الدولية الجديد في تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٥ حيث أجرى الفريق تحليلا للفرص الناشئة عن تنفيذ جولة أوروغواي وطرائق إنفاذ اﻷحكام الخاصة المتعلقة بأقل البلدان نموا والواردة في الوثيقة الختامية.

1. The Ad Hoc Working Group on Trading Opportunities in the New International Trading Context was established by the Trade and Development Board in its decision 415 (XL) of May 1994.
١- قام مجلس التجارة والتنمية، في مقرره ٥١٤ )د-٠٤( المعتمد في أيار/مايو ٤٩٩١، بإنشاء الفريق العامل المخصص بالفرص التجارية في سياق التجارة الدولية الجديد.

5. The Group's discussion was summarized in the report of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Trading Opportunities in the New International Trading Context on its first session (TD/B/42(2)/3) - TD/B/WG.8/4).

The representative of Uruguay, speaking on behalf of the MERCOSUR countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) and Chile, said that the terms of reference of the Working Group were sufficiently explicit on what was expected from the secretariat, i.e. an analysis by market and by product of opportunities in the New International Trading Context.
٣٤- وتكلم ممثل أوروغواي باسم البلدان اﻷعضاء في السوق المشتركة للجنوب (MERCOSUR) )اﻷرجنتين والبرازيل وباراغواي وأوروغواي( وشيلي فقال إن اختصاصات الفريق العامل واضحة بما فيه الكفاية بشأن ما يُتوقﱠع من اﻷمانة، أي الاضطلاع بتحليل للفرص المتاحة في سياق التجارة الدولية الجديد بحسب السوق والمنتَج.
