Despite the objection of some member States, the main human rights bodies working in the area of racism and discrimination have stated clearly that prohibition of this type of discrimination falls within the scope of existing instruments, in particular the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
ورغم اعتراض بعض الدول الأعضاء، فإن الهيئات الرئيسية المعنية بحقوق الإنسان في مجال العنصرية والتمييز أوضحت أن تحريم هذا النوع من التمييز يندرج ضمن مجال تطبيق الصكوك القائمة، لا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري.

Parliamentarians must work to promote migrants' rights and to combat stereotypes and policies that adversely affected social diversity and cohesion, and ensure that their Governments ratified the relevant international agreements, in particular the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

267. The Committee recommends that Iraq review its policy concerning respect for and implementation of international human rights instruments, in particular the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
٧٦٢ - توصي اللجنة بأن يعيد العراق النظر في سياساته المتصلة باحترام وتنفيذ الصكوك الدولية المتعلقة بحقوق اﻹنسان، ولا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري.

25- وعلى الدول والمنظمات الدولية أن توعي بشأن الإطار القانوني لحماية حقوق المهاجرين، لا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية حقوق جميع المهاجرين وأفراد أسرهم.

In her statement, the High Commissioner called for an end to the criminalization of irregular migrants and urged all States to ratify and effectively implement the core international human rights instruments protecting their human rights in particular the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

5- ومن أجل تحقيق الاحترام التام لحقوق جميع الشعوب في دولة ما، يتعين أن تدعى الحكومات مرة أخرى إلى التقيد بالصكوك الدولية لحقوق الإنسان ولا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري، وإلى تنفيذها تنفيذا تاما.

The best approach would be to promote the adherence of States to the more focused international agreements which already existed in that field, in particular the International Convention for the suppression of terrorist bombings which had recently been adopted. His delegation therefore reserved its position with regard to the eighth preambular paragraph of the draft resolution.
والنهج اﻷفضل هو تعزيز امتثال الدول للاتفاقات الدولية اﻷكثر تركيزا والقائمة حاليا في هذا الميدان، ولا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع الهجمات اﻹرهابية بالقنابل التي اعتمدت مؤخرا ولذلك فإن وفده يحتفظ بموقفه إزاء الفقرة الاستهلالية الثامنة من مشروع القرار.

The existing United Nations conventions against terrorism, in particular the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism (General Assembly resolution 54/109, annex), should be signed, ratified and implemented by many more Member States.
7- وينبغي أن يزيد زيادة كبيرة عدد الدول الموقّعة والمصدّقة على اتفاقيات الأمم المتحدة الحالية لمكافحة الإرهاب، ولا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع تمويل الإرهاب (مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة 54/109)، وعدد الدول التي تنفذها.

The Meeting recommended that States ratify or accede to the 12 international instruments against terrorism, in particular, the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism (General Assembly resolution 54/109, annex).
وأوصى الاجتماع بأن تصدق الدول على الصكوك الدولية الاثني عشر لمكافحة الارهاب، ولا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع تمويل الارهاب (مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة 54/109)، أو بأن تنضم إليها.

كما ستصدق على صكوك قانونية أخرى، ولا سيما الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع الهجمات الإرهابية بالقنابل، والاتفاقية الدولية لمناهضة أخذ الرهائن والبروتوكول المتعلق بقمع أعمال العنف غير المشروعة في المطارات التي تخدم الطيران المدني الدولي، والمكمل لاتفاقية مكافحة الأعمال غير المشروعة الموجهة ضد سلامة الطيران المدني.

However, the many changes that took place in Algerian society, coupled with the need to bring domestic legislation into line with international conventions ratified by Algeria, in particular the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, naturally called for its amendment.
