Paragraph 1. Guyana has not authorized the direct or indirect supply, sale or transfer of arms or any related materials or assistance to armed groups operating in North and South Kivu and in Ituri or to any group within the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
الفقرة 1 - لم تأذن غيانا بإمداد الجماعات المسلحة التي تعمل في شمال وجنوب كيفو وفي إيتوري بأسلحة أو بمواد متصلة بها أو ببيعها أو بنقلها أو تقديم المساعدة إليها سواء بصورة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة أو إلى أي جماعة في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية.

11. Requests MONUC, within its existing capabilities and without prejudice to the performance of its current mandate, and the Group of Experts referred to in paragraph 9 above to continue to focus their monitoring activities in North and South Kivu and in Ituri;

14. The tasks to be performed by the Group of Experts, enumerated in paragraph 10 of resolution 1533 (2004), continue to apply, and in paragraph 3 of resolution 1596 (2005) MONUC and the Group of Experts were requested to continue to focus their monitoring activities in North and South Kivu and in Ituri.

The majority of rapes committed by men in uniform (2,145 of the 3,209) occurred in North and South Kivu and in Ituri. 66 per cent of the victims were minors, a 10 per cent increase compared with 2007.

3. Requests MONUC to continue to use all means, within its capabilities, to carry out the tasks outlined in paragraph 19 of resolution 1493, and in particular to inspect, without notice as it deems it necessary, the cargo of aircraft and of any transport vehicle using the ports, airports, airfields, military bases and border crossings in North and South Kivu and in Ituri;

Reaffirms the demand, laid down in paragraph 20 of resolution 1493, that all States take the necessary measures to prevent the supply of arms and any related materiel or assistance to armed groups operating in North and South Kivu and in Ituri, and to groups not party to the Global and All-Inclusive agreement on the Transition in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (signed in Pretoria on 17 December 2002);
