While the events in Lebanon and the relocation to Cyprus undoubtedly affected the operations and productivity of the Commission during the reporting period, that impact has been kept to a minimum, thanks notably to the generous assistance of the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus in ensuring that the Commission could make use of temporary office accommodations immediately upon its arrival.
89 - ورغم أن الأحداث التي شهدها لبنان وانتقال الموظفين إلى قبرص أثرا بلا شك على عمليات اللجنة وإنتاجيتها أثناء الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير، فقد كان هذا الأثر محدودا وذلك بفضل المساعدة الثمينة التي قدمها برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي وقوة الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام في قبرص بكفالتهما إمكانية استخدام اللجنة لمكاتب مؤقتة فور وصول أفرادها.
