41. In May 2008, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Naser al Misnad requested the Office of the Special Rapporteur to conduct a national survey similar to the Global Survey.

Consequently, to carry out this vision, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser al-Missnad, Consort of His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, established the above-mentioned trust fund, which provides opportunities for non-governmental organizations to buttress their pivotal roles in development activities.

Further to a suggestion made by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah to the High Representative, the Forum will explore how the advancement towards the goals of the Alliance can contribute to sustainable development and achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
وإضافة إلى اقتراح قدّمته صاحبة السمو الشيخة موزة إلى الممثّل السامي فإن المنتدى سوف يستكشف الكيفية التي يمكن أن يؤدّي بها التقدّم في تحقيق أهداف التحالف إلى تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والأهداف الإنمائية للألفية.

66. During her time as President of the Council, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Misnad founded several public institutions whose object is to protect and promote the rights of the groups that they serve, namely:
66- قامت صاحبة السمو الشيخة موزا بنت ناصر خلال فترة رئاستها للمجلس بإنشاء العديد من المؤسسات ذات النفع العام والتي اهتمت بحماية وتعزيز حقوق الفئات التي أنشئت من أجلها، وهي:

131. During her time as President of the Council, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Misnad set up the following public welfare institutions to protect and promote the rights of women in all stages of life:
131- وقامت صاحبة السمو الشيخة موزا بنت ناصر خلال فترة رئاستها للمجلس بإنشاء العديد من المؤسسات ذات النفع العام والتي اهتمت بحماية حقوق المرأة وتعزيزها في جميع مراحل حياتها، وهي :

54. The Supreme Council for Family Affairs, established by royal decree under the leadership of Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Misnad, wife of the Emir, was a significant step for women in her country inasmuch as the Council was responsible for implementing a national strategy for the advancement of women.
54 - وقالت إن المجلس الأعلى لشؤون الأسرة، الذي أنشئ بمرسوم ملكي وتتولى قيادته صاحبة السمو الشيخة موزة بنت ناصر المسند، زوجة الأمير، هو خطوة هامة بالنسبة للمرأة في بلدها لأن هذا المجلس مسؤول عن تنفيذ استراتيجية وطنية للنهوض بالمرأة.

8. In this regard, Amiral Decree No. 53 of 1998 provided for the establishment of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, which is presided over by Her Royal Highness Sheikha Muza bint Nasir al-Musnid, the wife of His Royal Highness Sheikh Kamd bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar.
