In addition to a review and analysis of the 22 rules, in light of conditions prevailing in the countries of the subregion, workshop participants formulated an action plan on equalization of opportunities and prepared an analytical review of proposed revisions to the International Classification of Impairments, Disabilities and Handicaps (ICIDH).3 The workshop was co-financed by a grant from the United Nations Voluntary Fund on Disability.

Encourages Governments, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector to continue to contribute to the United Nations Voluntary Fund on Disability in order to support the activities of the Special Rapporteur as well as new and expanded initiatives to strengthen national capacities for the equalization of opportunities by, for and with persons with disabilities;
7 - يشجع الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية والقطاع الخاص على مواصلة المساهمة في صندوق الأمم المتحدة للتبرعات لحالات العجز بغية توفير الدعم لأنشطة المقررة الخاصة، وكذلك المبادرات الجديدة والموسعة الرامية إلى تعزيز القدرات الوطنية للسعي إلى كفالة تمتع الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة بتكافؤ الفرص بالعمل من خلالهم ومعهم ومن أجلهم؛
