1. Following the recent deliberations in the Open-ended Working Group and the presentation by the Bureau of a revised conference room paper (CRP.10/Rev.1) on decision-making in the Security Council, including the veto, our group has made the following observations:
١ - في أعقاب المداولات اﻷخيرة التي دارت في الفريق العامل المفتوح باب العضوية، وتقديم المكتب لورقة غرفة اجتماع منقحة (CRP.10/Rev.1) بشأن صنع القرار في مجلس اﻷمن بما في ذلك حق النقض، أبدى فريقنا الملاحظات التالية:

Accordingly, other countries, along with the Security Council's permanent members and the world Powers, also have the opportunity to express their views and participate in Security Council decision-making on important issues of international peace and security.

Objective of the Organization: To facilitate the deliberations of and effective decision-making by the Security Council and its subsidiary organs.

Bulgaria fully subscribes to the opinion that a periodic review of the Security Council's decision-making process is a vital tool for accountability and for ensuring responsible performance.
